Registrar’s office – Most commonly asked questions

· Online Forms

    • Registration – to sign up for classes each quarter – Only 1 can be submitted per student per quarter
    • Add/Drop form – to add or drop classes from your registration request
    • Transcript Request - to request an official or unofficial record of all grades
      • processing time is 2 weeks
      • Can be faxed or mailed by standard post
      • We do not email transcripts because we do not have a secure method to do so.
    • Letters - letters to employers, immigration, insurance, etc
      • processing time is 1 week
      • Can be faxed, emailed or mailed by standard post
    • Program Declaration – to change programs
    • Request for an Incomplete – to request an incomplete (see more information below)
    • Commencement Request – to request graduation
      • The deadline for this is the first week of the quarter that you expect completion of your program.
    • Comprehensive Exam – to request a sitting of the comp exam – Dates for sitting will be set by the Dean

· Incomplete Policy

    • Incompletes are only given for extraordinary situations.
    • Must be requested prior to the end of the quarter.
    • A request for an incomplete must be approved by the instructor, the Dean and the Registrar.
    • Verification of the reason for the incomplete must be received before it can be approved.

· Withdrawals – Academic policy (The financial policy is not the same!)

    • You have until Friday of week 7 to withdraw without getting an F.
    • Even one day into week 8 means an F on your transcript.
    • The class will still count as an attempted class and will show up on your transcript as a W.

· Grade Release

    • All work must be turned in before the end of the quarter.
    • Grades are e-mailed no later than 3 weeks after the end of the quarter.
    • All grades are e-mailed to your MyICCI e-mail.

· MyICCI e-mail address

    • You MUST check it often.
    • Directions for how to access it have been e-mailed to the email address you provided on your first registration form.
    • YOU can set it up to forward directly to another e-mail address.
