Welcome to the International College of the Cayman Islands Library

Our goal is to support the curriculum and programs offered by the College and to foster the teaching, research and learning needs of our academic community, by providing the necessary resources and information services.

In an attempt to achieve these goals, the library provides access to materials that covers a variety of subject areas in its open-stack, reference and reserved collection, as well as online resources that can be accessed remotely.

We have included on this site:

Did you know that thousands of theses and dissertations are available on Open Access? Check out the following links:

EThOS  – etheses online service
The British Library’s Electronic Theses Online Service provides access to over 350,000 UK doctoral theses.  Approximately 120,000 of these are full text which can be downloaded via the EThOS database or links to institutional repositories.

Dart-Europe E-theses Portal
This portal includes links to over 500,000 full text research theses from 28 European countries dating from the 16th century to the present. Records can be browsed by university, country, year, etc.

NDLTD – Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations
This search and discovery platform contains details of nearly 4 million theses and dissertations, including doctoral and masters level work, from countries around the world. Many of the bibliographic records link to full text electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs). Searches can be sorted and refined by subject, author, title, date, language, country, etc.

Cybertesis
This Open Access Portal provides access to full text ETDs from some institutions in Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Hong Kong, Mexico, Peru, Spain, and the United States.

DiVA – Academic Archive On-line
This portal provides access to ETDs and other research publications from over 30 institutions in Scandinavia.

The National ETD Portal
This resource provides access to thousands of theses and dissertations produced in South Africa.

Theses Canada
Theses Canada, launched in 1965 at the request of the deans of Canadian graduate schools, is a voluntary program between Library and Archives Canada (LAC) and nearly 70 universities accredited by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada.  The collection contains both microfiche and electronic theses and dissertations that are for personal or academic research purposes.

Trove
This National Library of Australia portal provides access to resources that are produced by universities in Australia.
